The Television Academy Foundation is now accepting applications for its Summer 2011 Internship Program.
The program is designed to provide college students with an in-depth exposure to professional television production during an eight-week summer internship in Los Angeles, California.
Qualifications:
- Candidates must be qualified full-time undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in the United States.
- Any students transferring from a community college into a four-year institution by September 2011 are also qualified to apply.
- International students must provide an INS work authorization permit or CPT letter within ten days after receiving notification of winning. (All selected applicants must have a social security number by May 1, 2011 to qualify.)
- All winners are subject to background checks prior to being placed in an internship.
- Interns must have a car for transportation.
Benefits:
A stipend of approximately $4,000 will be paid to each intern. Interns will be responsible for their own housing, transportation, and living expenses.
Location:
All Television Academy Foundation internships are located in the Los Angeles area with the possible exception of Documentary and Episodic Series.
