Steve Spignese oversees the entertainment team at Beck Media & Marketing, directing campaigns for all of the agency’s traditional entertainment clients. Steve leads multiple account teams at the agency, each dedicated to serving clients with creative and dynamic work that influences audiences both online and off.
In recent years, Steve’s team of PR pros have planned and executed launch campaigns on behalf of traditional and digital content creators including Debmar Mercury (the December 2010 “Fran Drescher” talk strip test), NBC Universal Television Distribution (genre-bending syndicated daytime reality strip “Starting Over”), NBC Digital Studio (“Fact Checkers Unit”), Sony Pictures Television (AMC’s “Breaking Bad,” plus multiple daytime strips including court and talk formats), and Warner Bros. Television Group (TheWB.com including Rockville, Childrens’ Hospital, Sorority Forever) and more.
Steve also takes a leading role with the agency’s non-entertainment clients, including direct response pioneer Cash4Gold, multi-hyphenate MC Hammer’s mixed-martial arts management company Alchemist Management, and the NAB Show, the world’s largest entertainment technology conference.
Prior to joining Beck Media & Marketing in 2004, Steve oversaw marketing and PR at The L.A. Office, a promotions firm dedicated to bringing brands and entertainment together for mutually beneficial marketing programs. He began his career with an eight year stint Rogers & Cowan where he represented a variety of high profile actors, writers and producers. He left R&C to work at dotcom pioneer Yahoo! where he handled PR on behalf of that company’s entertainment properties.
Steve is a member of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, and graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Massachusetts with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication.
