Entertainment Team Leader

Steve Spignese oversees the entertainment team at Beck Media & Marketing, directing public relations campaigns for all of the agency’s traditional entertainment clients, as well as new media clients which have equity within the entertainment space. 

Steve has led account teams on behalf of clients such as NBC Universal (“Starting Over”), Warner Bros. (TheWB.com), and several projects for Sony Pictures Television, including multiplatform productions, the public relations launch of “Breaking Bad” on AMC,  and campaigns for syndicated programming including “Judge David Young,” “Judge Karen” and “The Greg Behrendt Show.”  Steve’s team also represents a variety of television production and management companies and interactive entertainment concerns.

Steve began his career with an eight year stint at Rogers & Cowan.  He represented a variety of high profile actors, writers and producers, and worked with major corporate brands to develop an "entertainment spin" for their marketing efforts.  He has also held entertainment marketing and public relations positions at dotcom pioneer Yahoo!, and at The L.A. Office, a promotions firm dedicated to bringing brands and entertainment together for mutually beneficial marketing programs.  He joined Beck Media & Marketing in 2004.

Steve served on the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Daytime Awards Committee, and was active on the subcommittee overseeing the Daytime Creative Arts Awards in Los Angeles in 2006.  Spignese graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Massachusetts with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication.
